General

Where are you located?

We're proudly Canadian 🇨🇦! Located in Trenton, Ontario Canada.

Do you have in-person shopping?

No, our studio is only set up for filling online orders, so we don't offer in person shopping. 

If you're in the area (Trenton, Ontario, Canada) we do offer local pickup at our Trenton studio, just select the 'local pick up' option at checkout and we will contact you to set up a time for order pick up.

Do you make custom bras, swimsuits or patterns?

No, we're so busy making patterns and selling supplies that we don't have time for any custom sewing or pattern making!

Do you make commercial patterns for brands or do sample sewing?

No, at this time we are focused exclusively on making designs for our own range of patterns :) 

Do you offer in-person or online sewing classes?

Online classes are in the works! In the meantime you can check our tutorials on our blog and all of our sewing inspiration on our Instagram.

I'd like to teach a sewing class with your pattern, can I do that?

Absolutely! We have a discounted pattern rate for teachers. Please contact us at emeralderinsews@gmail.com for more details

Do you offer wholesale?

At this time we're not offering wholesale shopping.

Patterns & Sizing

How do I download my pattern?

When you order a pattern you will receive an email with a download link after purchase. If you can't find the email no worries! Just contact us at emeralderinsews@gmail.com with your name or order number and we'll get you sorted :)

How do I find my bra size?

We recommend taking your measurements and using our sizing guide to find your size (https://shop.emeralderin.com/pages/bra-sizing-guide).

Different companies use different sizing system and methods, so you may be a different size in our patterns than you are in other patterns or brands. It's always best to double check your size!

What sizing system do you use for your patterns?

We use UK sizing for all our bra patterns, but all companies have their own version of sizing systems, so we always recommend you check your measurements with our sizing guide to ensure the best fit.

Orders

How long will it take for my order to be fulfilled?

All orders are cut and prepared to order and take between 1-5 days to prepare for shipping.

Processing times during sales and pattern launches may be delayed. We are a small team of two and we cut and package all our materials and kits to order. We do our best to process orders as quickly as possible and we really appreciate your patience during sale times ♡

Does fulfillment take longer during sales and pattern launches?

Yes, processing times during sales and pattern launches may be delayed and can take up to 15 business days.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

If your order has not yet shipped, please contact us with your order number at emeralderinsews@gmail.com to request an order cancellation or modification.

If your order has already shipped, then we are not able to cancel or modify your order.

Can I exchange or return my order?

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

If you have received an incorrect or damaged item please let us know as soon as possible at emeralderinsews@gmail.com so we can fix it!

My order is lost or damaged, what do I do?

Oh no! If you package is lost or damaged please reach out with your order number within 60 days of your order to emeralderinsews@gmail.com for a resolution.

Do you use sustainable packaging?

Yes! We have worked hard to source all the best sustainable packaging for our products. For all the details check our our blog post here:https://shop.emeralderin.com/pages/eco-packaging

Shipping & Taxes/Duty/Tariff

Can I pick up my order?

If you're in the area (Trenton, Ontario, Canada) we do offer local pickup at our Trenton studio, just select the 'local pick up' option at checkout and we will contact you to set up a time for order pick up.

Do you have free shipping?

Yes! We offer free shipping for Canadian orders over $200CAD

At this time we don't have free shipping options outside of Canada.

Shipping in Canada

We ship from Trenton, Ontario using Canada Post Expedited Parcel and Xpresspost. You will receive shipping confirmation email with a tracking link once your package is ready to go.

This service takes 1-8 business days depending on your location.

Shipping is calculated based on the weight of your package and orders over $200CAD get free shipping!

We collect and remit sales taxes on all Canadian orders (either HST or GST depending on the province).

Shipping to the USA

We are not currently shipping to the USA.

Due to the new tariff changes, our previous shipping options are no longer available, so we've paused shipping until we're able to find a new solution that doesn't leave our customers with surprise tariff bills.

Although our physical products are unavailable, all our PDF patterns are still available to purchase from anywhere in the world.

Shipping Internationally

All our PDF patterns are available to purchase from anywhere in the world.

For physical items:

Through this online shop we offer shipping to Switzerland (all taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer).

Through our Etsy Shop we offer international shipping to: Australia, New Zealand, Norway, the UK, Iceland & Switzerland.

We recommend shopping through Etsy because they collect and remit taxes and duty, so you shouldn't get a surprise bill. However please note that any additional fees or duties are the responsibility of the customer, and orders over a certain value may not have taxes and duties pre-collected, please check with Etsy policy to see the tax collection for our country and order value.

*Due to the new 2024 import regulations for the EU we are no longer able to ship to the EU*
