Underwire Styles:
Orange: These are a classic day-bra style of underwire suited to many body types. They have a relaxed splay on the underarm edge, and a medium height at the center front for a moderate amount of coverage.
Round: This is a classic bra wire, for a full coverage bra. Higher at the center front and less splayed at the underarm compare to the Orange wire.
Bliss: This underwire has a deeper, narrower shape than our classic day-bra wires (Orange & Round). The shape of this wire is very vertical at the center front and allows for a very narrow bridge. Ideal for larger bust sizes and small ribcages.
France: This wire has a splayed and shallow fit, perfect for relaxed and comfortable bras and fine lingerie. These underwires are shorter than most styles and low at both the center front and underarm. Ideal for many different bust sizes, but particularly suited to smaller/petite cup sizes where classic underwire styles can often be too narrow and long.
Carmen: This wire is a variation of a classic wire style with a little extra width and a taller center front. With a similar center front and underarm height, these wires are a good style for strapless bras, but can be used in lots of styles.
Plunge: This wire is designed for plunge, or low-cut bras. They have regular coverage at the underarm but are low at the center front for a plunging neckline. These can also be referred to as Push-Up wires.
Omega: This is a specialty underwire, designed for larger busts. These wires are very tall and narrow (similar in concept to our Bliss underwire, but more exaggerated in shape). These are ideal in custom bra-making for clients who have larger busts and need much taller and longer wires than the classic styles.

Find Your Bra & Underwire Size

1. Find Your Band Size
Measure directly under your bust, holding the tape measure snug. If using cm, convert the measurement to inches. Round this number to the closest even number, rounding up if you are directly in between. This is your band size.
2. Find Your Cup Size
Measure over the fullest point of your bust, be sure not to pull the tape measure tight. If using cm, convert the measurement to inches. Subtract your band size, from your full bust measurement. Each inch of difference equals 1 cup size.
E.G. 40(full bust measurement) - 36(band size) = 4 (D cup)
3. Find Your Bra Size
Put your band size and cup size together to get your bra size.
E.G. 36D
4. Find Your Underwire Size
If your bra style includes an underwire, consult this wire chart to find the standard size of wire for your bra size.
E.G. 36D = 40 underwire
