Tariff Information for US Customers

The situation around tariffs in the USA is very dynamic and changing, but this is what we know so far and how it impacts your orders from our Canadian shop. Updated May 12th 2025. 

 

As of May 2nd 2025, the USA has ended the $800USD duty-free de minimis exemption for all goods from China, this includes goods that are made in China not just goods that are being shipped from China, so all products made in china of any value entering the USA are subject to these tariffs. Tariffs are currently set at 30%.

 

The tariffs are not included in the cost of your order and will be calculated by the courier and charged to you at or before the time of delivery. 

Please be aware that if an order contains even a single item with a Chinese origin—regardless of the origin of the other items—the entire shipment will be subject to tariffs. In some cases, splitting your order into separate orders may help minimize tariff fees, especially for higher valued orders.

 

Orders that do not contain products from China will continue to ship duty-free.
